Merchant Marine took a 1-0 lead in the 1st on an error. The Mariners surged to 3-0 in the 2nd with an RBI triple and an RBI single, exploiting another Mount Saint Mary error. The Knights responded in the bottom of the 2nd scoring Aidan Marshall on a wild pitch to make it 3-1. Merchant Marine extended their lead to 4-1 in the 3rd an RBI single and to 5-1 in the 4th on a solo homer.
Mount Saint Mary fought back in the 4th, narrowing it to 5-3 when Tyler Crocitto scored on Noah Anderson's single after Crocitto's RBI single drove in Luke Barone. Merchant Marine pushed it to 6-3 in the 6th with a sac fly. The Knights erupted for four runs in the bottom of the 6th going ahead 7-6 with Chris Calvario's RBI and Barone's bases clearing three-RBI single. Merchant Marine tied it at 7 in the 7th with an RBI single. In the bottom of the 7th, Frank Signorelli's double set up Tyler Van De Bogart's second walk off of the season as the Knights went on to win 8-7 on a walk off single.

Mount Saint Mary countered in the bottom half, erasing the deficit with seven runs on Christian Parisa's RBI triple, a wild pitch, Stephen Volk's two-RBI double, Elijah Duprey's RBI single, and Chris Calvario's two-RBI single, taking a 7-5 lead. The Mariners roared back in the 2nd, scoring seven runs with a two-RBI single, walks, hit-by-pitches, and an RBI single, surging to 12-7.
The Knights cut it to 12-8 in the 2nd with Aidan Marshall's RBI single, but Merchant Marine pulled away. They held Mount Saint Mary scoreless from the 3rd on, while adding four runs in the 5th making it 16-8. Two more runs came in the 6th via an RBI single and an RBI double, pushing it to 18-8. A final run in the 7th came with a bases-loaded walk that set the score at 19-8. Mount Saint Mary couldn't rally in the 7th ending the game at 19-8.
