Tyler Van De Bogart would hit a sac fly to tie the game 4-4, then
Richard Lamping would walk in a run to help take the lead. The Knights added another 4 runs in the bottom half of the 3rd as
Stephen Volk started off with a leadoff double.
Frank Signorelli would triple and score Volk as Mount Saint Mary was making solid contact this inning. All their RBIs this inning came off of hits including RBI singles from
Chris Calvario and
Tyler Van De Bogart and an RBI double for
Aidan Marshall.
The Knights's pitching settled in with
Peter Pappalardo taking the mound in relief. Pappalardo would toss 2.2 scoreless innings and strikeout 4 batters.
