Rapid Recap
Mount Saint Mary started off the game good with a
Rob Geremino steal which led to a trip to the line for
Ryan Graham who had a team-high 18 points. Graham scored 7 of the Knight's first 10 points this game as they led 10-8 early on. The Mount got some help from their bench including
Conor Gemmill who scored on back-to-back possessions and blocked a shot on the defensive end. Though the Knights had a solid first half, so did the Bears. Both teams went back and forth on offense as the game was tied 23-23 midway through the half. A
Connor Cyran three gave the Mount its largest lead of the game, 32-27. St. Joseph's went on an 8-0 run to round out the half as the Knights trailed 41-35.
Ryan Graham got a quick score off a
JP Egan steal early on in the half. Before you could blink, the Bears took a 20-point lead forcing a Mount Saint Mary timeout. The Knights stalled offensively, but they were also out-rebounded 46-33, including 15-7 on the offensive side of the ball. At this point, the Mount needed to do more than just trade baskets.
Ryan Graham knocked down three straight makes from beyond the arc, though it would come a little too late as the Knights still trailed 80-57 with just under 4 minutes to play. Mount Saint Mary would eventually lose to St. Joseph's Brooklyn 80-64.
