NEWBURGH, N.Y. –  Graduate Jackson Lerner of the men's swim team and junior forward Brianna Guglielmo of the women's basketball team have been named this week's Knights of the Week.
 
Lerner as awarded the Dick Krempecki Outstanding Senior Award which was given out to only one female and one male swimmer at the Metropolitan Swimming Championships. He also broke a school record in the 50 Yard Butterfly and helped the men's team finish 6th with 437 points, the teams most points by more than double ever at the METS.
 
Guglielmo tied her career-high in points scored against the #1 seed in the Skyline Merchant Marine where she scored a game-high 22 points on 9-14 shooting. She averaged 16.0 points on 60.9% shooting, 5.0 steals, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and only 0.5 turnovers this past week.
