From the opening whistle, the Knights showed grit and determination, going toe-to-toe with a tough Farmingdale State squad in what quickly became a tightly contested first half. Mount Saint Mary put pressure on both ends of the field and matched the Rams shot for shot. Creating quality chances in the attacking third and linking well in transition, the midfield engaged in a tough struggle for possession. The back line maintained their discipline and organization on defense, which interfered with FSC's rhythm and limited their opportunities. Despite the Knights' strong start, Farmingdale managed to break through in the 31st minute to take a 1-0 lead. Delisianna Naccarato fired a well-placed shot toward the bottom right corner, forcing the goalkeeper into a tough save. The Mount continued to apply pressure, showing urgency as they worked the ball around and tested the defense.The Knights fought tirelessly until the last whistle, but they were unable to get the equalizer they had been searching for.
