Rapid Recap
Mount Saint Mary traveled to the Bronx looking to be the first team to defeat Mount Saint Vincent this season. The Knights have played competitively with every opponent this season, including today's match with the Dolphins. Cam Welsh nearly got the Mount on the board first in the 16th minute, but both his shots would be saved by the UMSV keeper. The Knights had the upper hand offensively in the first half, outshooting the Dolphins 6-4, with the shots on goal advantage being 4-2.

It wouldn't be very long before Mount Saint Mary scored to start the second half as Quinn Tynan found Marco Mazzarelli to break the scoreless draw. This was the first goal scored on the Dolphins at home since their season opener on August 29th. Mount Saint Vincent was undefeated and the top team in the Skyline for a reason, responding in the 61st minute to tie the game up 1-1. With the game now at a draw, both teams looked to get that second goal to come away with extra points. The next shot on target wouldn't be until the 83rd minute when UMSV scored their second goal in a row to take a 2-1 lead. The Knights were unable to find an equalizer, as they lost on the road to the Dolphins.
