Rapid Recap
Mount Saint Mary had six different goal scorers in their first Skyline Conference win against Yeshiva University. The Knights offensive got started right away when junior Maria Baldwin buried a shot into the back of the net three minutes into the match. A great pass from Darla Petricca allowed Victoria Maffettone to score another goal for the Knights a few minutes later. The Mount continued to fire shots on goal and controlled the pace of play. Mount Saint Mary grew their lead to 3-0 when freshman Kaelyn Greene ripped a shot on goal and scored her second goal of the season for the Knights. Petricca and Maffettone would connect again for another goal, with Petricca scoring her first goal back from injury. Things went the Knights way the rest of the half as they applied pressure on the Maccabees defense. They kept putting shots on goal as multiple Knights would find the back of the net in the first half. Emma Mihale, Faith Welsh, and Lily Tanko would also score in the first 45, as Greene added another to give the Knights an 8-0 lead going into halftime.

The Mount continued to control the tempo, with Kellyanne Moran scoring her first career goal for the Knights, extending their lead. Mount Saint Mary controlled the rest of the game tallying three more goals to bring the score to 12-0. Welsh, Tanko, and Baldwin would all notch another goal apiece. The Maccabees goalkeepers, who each saw 45 minutes of playing time, combined for six saves. The Knights offense was just too much for Yeshiva to handle. 17 players saw action for Mount Saint Mary as the Mount was on the right end of a blowout. Graduate goalie Christina Kakavas recorded her first clean sheet of the season as the Knights won 12-0.
