Throggs Neck, NY- The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Lacrosse team (2-9, 1-4 Skyline) fell to Maritime College (9-5, 5-1 Skyline) by a score of 16-4 on a brisk Saturday afternoon at Reinhart Field.
Â
The Knights played a strong first half, keeping pace with the Privateers and trailing just 5-2 at the break. However, self-inflicted mistakes in the second half allowed Maritime to pull away for the victory.
Â
"We played a great first half but moving into the second the self-inflicted mistakes caught up," said Head Coach
Justin Lorenzo. "From where we started in September I couldn't be prouder of how we played and battled throughout the game. We're excited to get back on the field for our last two games this week."
