Throggs Neck, NY- The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Lacrosse team (2-9, 1-4 Skyline) fell to Maritime College (9-5, 5-1 Skyline) by a score of 16-4 on a brisk Saturday afternoon at Reinhart Field.
 
The Knights played a strong first half, keeping pace with the Privateers and trailing just 5-2 at the break. However, self-inflicted mistakes in the second half allowed Maritime to pull away for the victory.
 
"We played a great first half but moving into the second the self-inflicted mistakes caught up," said Head Coach Justin Lorenzo. "From where we started in September I couldn't be prouder of how we played and battled throughout the game. We're excited to get back on the field for our last two games this week."
 
Leaders for the Mount
 
Attacker Larry Frank led the Mount with three goals and five shots on target.
Midfielder Tim Doyle added a goal and four ground balls.
Goalie Kenny Leen made 24 saves in net for the Knights.
