Women's Soccer Wins Second Straight Game

Mount Saint Mary College Dominates Old Westbury in 11-0 Victory

Old Westbury, NY - In a one-sided match, Mount Saint Mary College (N.Y.) demonstrated their dominance on the field as they secured an impressive 11-0 victory against Old Westbury on October 14, 2023.

Mount Saint Mary College wasted no time, scoring six goals in the first half and adding five more in the second to secure the commanding win. Lily Tanko, Kaitlin Hansen, and Victoria Maffettone were among the goal scorers for the Knights.

Christina Kakavas, the goalkeeper for Mount Saint Mary, had a relatively quiet day with just one save, as Old Westbury struggled to create scoring opportunities. 

With this dominant victory, Mount Saint Mary College improves to 4-7-3 overall and 4-1-3 in their conference, Mount Saint Mary College will be home on Wednesday the 18th at 7pm hosting St. Joseph's University Long Island.
