Purchase, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Soccer team travelled to Manhattanville Saturday to square off with the Valiants, and the two squads played to a 1-1 draw. Kaitlin Hansen (Port Jervis, N.Y.) scored the Knights lone goal of the match for the Knights.
Saturday's draw moves Mount Saint Mary to 2-6-2 on the season and 2-0-1 in conference play, while Manhattanville moves to 2-5-1 overall, and 2-0-1 in league play.
First Half

The first 45 minutes of play came and went, as both sides failed to score a goal in the first half, entering intermission at 0-0.

Mount Saint Mary outshot the Valiants by a margin of 8-4.

The first 20 minutes of the second half went scoreless as well, but then that changed. At the 65:17 mark, Jennifer Xiong got Manhattanville on the board off a pass from Skyla Marrone.

In the 80th minute, the Mount would strike back, as Darla Petricca (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) set up Hansen to knot the game up at 1-1, the score that the game would finish with.

The Knights once again outshot the Valiants, this time 12-7.
