Farmingdale, N.Y. – Following a sweep of Purchase on Saturday afternoon, the Mount Saint Mary College Women's Volleyball team returned to action on Sunday at Old Westbury and dropped a 20-25, 21-25, 25-19, 12-25 decision to the Panthers.
Fran Cammarata (Carmel, N.Y.) rounded out the match with a double-double for the Knights.
Sunday's loss drops Mount Saint Mary to 10-13 overall on the season and 5-4 in Skyline Conference play, while Old Westbury improves to 6-8 overall and 4-4 in league competition.
How It Happened
- Mount Saint Mary recorded 14 kills and hit .333 in the opening set.
- The Panthers raced out to leads of 8-1 and 12-3 in the opening frame.
- The Knights whittled the deficit down to 19-14 on three straight kills from Erin Lema (Centereach, N.Y.), Krista Gross (East Northport, N.Y.) and Cammarata.

- Lema put away six kills and finished with nine digs and a team-high three aces.
- DiScala totaled six kills and hit .545 for the Knights to go along with two aces and a block.
- Cammarata finished off a strong match with 20 assists, 13 digs and five kills.
For The Panthers
- Maser led all players in the match with 15 kills and added eight digs and three aces.
- Baumann finished up with 12 kills and 13 digs.
- Olivero totaled 12 kills, hitting .440, to go along with two aces and three blocks.
- Rachelle Marrero closed a double-double with 38 assists and 13 digs.
- Cameron McGinn led all players with 22 digs.
