Throggs Neck, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Volleyball team scored an important Skyline Conference victory on Tuesday night, posting a 25-12, 25-7, 22-25, 25-12 road victory at Maritime.
Grace Riddle (Wantagh, NM.Y.) led eight different players with a kill, while
Mary Milano (East Patchogue, N.Y.) put away a career-high nine winners for the Mount.
Tuesday's victory pushes Mount Saint Mary to 11-13 overall on the season and to 6-4 against league rivals, while Maritime falls to 2-17 and 1-9 in conference play.
How It Happened
- Mount Saint Mary put away nine kills and hit an even .400 in the opening stanza.
- The Knights opened a 15-7 lead with a 6-2 run before breaking the match open with a 5-0 stretch that gave them a 20-8 advantage.
- Riddle and Sabrina Romano (Glen Cove, N.Y.) sparked the five-point run with winners.
- After three straight points from Maritime, the Mount closed the opening frame with five of the final seven points, including two service aces from Fran Cammarata (Carmel, N.Y.).
- The Knights hit a blistering .542 in the middle frame, putting away 14 kills.

- Riddle finished the night with a match-high 11 kills, hitting an efficient .476 on the night. Riddle closed out the match with six digs, three aces and two blocks.
- Milano hit an even .400 with her career-high kill total, adding nine digs, an ace and a block.
- Romano produced seven kills for the Knight and hit a blistering .583. Romano also contributed two aces and a block for the Knights.
- Erin Lema (Centereach, N.Y.) finished up with four kills, four digs and two aces.
- Brooke Lavelle (Staten Island, N.Y.) equaled the team-high with two blocks.
- Cammarata finished off a strong match with 28 assists, nine digs and six service aces.
For The Privateers
- Celyna Custodio led the team with 10 kills to go along with eight digs.
- Jessica Mele rounded out the night with seven kills and 11 digs.
- Victoria Cordero led all players with 13 digs.
- Brooke Kirchner handed out 22 assists and lifted eight digs.

- The Knights finished the night with a 41-26 advantage in kills, hitting .218 as a team against a -.043 mark for the Privateers.
