Dallas, Pa. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Volleyball team dropped a pair of non-conference decisions on Saturday, falling to Misericordia 25-21, 13-25, 11-25, 21-25 and Lebanon Valley 12-25, 13-25, 20-25. Senior
Grace Riddle (Wantagh, N.Y.) combined for 17 kills on the day for the Knights.
Saturday's results drop Mount Saint Mary to 9-12 overall on the season.
Misericrodia 3 – Mount Saint Mary 1
How It Happened
- Mount Saint Mary got off to a good start, grabbing a 1-0 lead over the host Cougars.
- Mount Saint Mary overcame an early 6-5 deficit with a 7-0 run highlighted by three Mary Milano (East Patchogue, N.Y.) service aces.
- Misericordia later answered with a four-point stretch to make the score 19-17 in favor of the Knights.
- The Mount countered with five straight tallies to move to within a point of the set victory and withstood a four-point run from the Cougars. An attack error from the hosts gave the Knights a one-set advantage.
- Misericordia took control of the second frame early, scoring 15 of the first 19 points.
- A three-point spurt from the Knights moved the score to 19-10 before the Cougars scored six of the final nine points to even the match at 1-1.
- Much like the second set, Misericordia ran out to a 15-6 lead in the third stanza.

For The Knights
- Riddle led the Knights with eight kills in the contest, adding an ace and 10 digs.
- Erin Lema (Centereach, N.Y.) totaled five kills and chipped in two aces.
- Sabrina Romano (Glen Cove, N.Y.) contributed five winners and posted a block.
- Milano led the team with 12 digs and four aces, also producing three kills.
- Fran Cammarata (Carmel, N.Y.) handed out 20 assists to go along with five digs and a team-high two blocks.
For The Cougars
- Faith Merritt led all players with 18 kills, hitting .314. Merritt closed out a big match with five aces and 10 digs.
- Meghan Peters put away 15 winners, hitting .419, and added eight digs, two blocks and two aces.
- Adele Decker finished the day with nine kills, seven digs, three blocks and three aces.
- Delaney Boyd led all players with 13 digs.
- Annika Massa handed out 40 assists and lifted six digs.
Match Statistics
- Misericordia finished the match with a 53-28 advantage in kills and hit .333 as a team.
- Services aces went to the Cougars 16-9.
- Misericordia took the advantage in total team blocks 9-2.

How It Happened
- Lebanon Valley took control of the match in the first set, putting away 16 kills and hitting .536.
- The Dutchmen used a 7-0 run to open a 23-9 lead in the first set.
- A Taylor McInerney kill closed out the opening stanza and gave Lebanon Valley a 1-0 lead.
- The Dutchmen continued their hot play in middle frame with 17 kills and a .406 attack percentage.
- Lebanon Valley sprinted out to a 12-3 lead.
- The Knights used a late 6-1 run to climb to within 24-13, but an Emily Bartlett kill sent the Dutchmen to a 2-0 advantage.
- Lebanon Valley added 15 more kills in the third frame and limited the Mount to only six winners.
- The Knights pulled in front 9-3 on a Lema kill and would not fall behind until a 6-0 Lebanon Valley run that pushed it in front 16-13.
