Brooklyn, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Volleyball team picked up its second straight win Thursday night with a hard fought 27-25, 25-18, 25-23 road Skyline Conference victory at St. Joseph's-Brooklyn.
Grace Riddle (Wantagh, N.Y.) put away 17 kills, while
Mary Milano (East Patchogue, N.Y.) led the team with 13 digs.
Thursday's win pulls the Knights to within a match of the .500 mark at 9-10 overall and improves their league mark to 4-3. The Bears drop to 4-10 overall and 3-4 in Skyline Conference action.
How It Happened
- The Knights moved in front 13-11 in the opening set before using back-to-back kills from Riddle and Sabrina Romano (Glen Cove, N.Y.) to push its advantage to 15-12.
- The Bears used a five-point run late in the set to surge in front 20-17.
- The Knights responded with three straight points, highlighted by two aces from Milano, to knot the score at 20-20.
- The Bears answered again with a four-point spurt to move to within a point of taking the first set.

- Milano led the Knights with 13 digs and three aces to go along with two blocks.
- Krista Gross (East Northport, N.Y.) lifted 12 digs.
- Jenna Cullinan (Levittown, N.Y.) contributed 10 digs and two aces to the winning effort.
- Cammarata closed out a double-double with 26 assists and 10 digs.

- Intindola led the team with nine kills and totaled eight digs.
- Carol Melo led all players in the match with 17 digs.
