At A Glance: The Knights enter Tuesday's regular season finale with an 8-6-1 overall record and a 7-2-1 mark in conference play. The Knights had a seven-game unbeaten streak stopped on Saturday following a 3-0 loss at Manhattanville and stand in a tie for third place in the conference standings with Farmingdale State.
Connor Doyle (New Windsor, N.Y.) leads the scoring attack with a team-high 15 goals, also pacing the team with 30 points. Doyle's goal and point totals are tops in the Skyline Conference heading into Tuesday's matchup with the Bears.
Matthew Wyant (Beacon, N.Y.) leads the team with 11 assists, also tops in the Skyline Conference, and ranks second on the team with 19 points, adding four goals to his assist total.
Peter Ramirez (Newburgh, N.Y.) is tied with Wyant for second on the team with four goals and has chipped in two assists for 10 points.
Zach Decker (Red Hook, N.Y.) has manned the goal for the Knights all season and enters Tuesday's tilt with a .747 save percentage and a 1.49 goals against average. Decker has produced five shutouts on the season and stopped 68 opponent shots.
Scouting The Bears: St. Joseph's will close out its 2021 season on Tuesday and enters the contest with a 4-7-3 overall record and a 2-5-3 mark in conference play. The Bears are coming off a scoreless draw against Purchase on Saturday.
Diego Volpe is the team leader to date with three goals on the season and paces the Bears through 14 games with six points. Jesus Cano is tops on the team with a trio of assists.
In goal, Alejandro Oliveros has played 1,102:01 of a possible 1,288:11 for the Bears has is sporting a .743 save percentage and a 1.47 goals against average. Oliveros has posted five shutouts to date and made 52 saves.
Recent History: Since 2015, the Knights and Bears have played five pervious times with the Mount coming away victorious on each occasion. The Mount is outscoring St. Joseph's over that stretch 22-1.
