Mount Saint Mary College Fall 2021 Spectator Policy
Important Information
- NO PETS ALLOWED
- Open to current MSMC students, faculty, staff
- Additional (4) spectators permitted per student-athlete/coach for each team. This will be coordinated with the coach and student-athlete prior to the competition through a gate list.
- Spectators must provide one of the following at the main gate:
1. Proof of full vaccination; please bring your Vaccination Card the day of the game and government issued ID- OR- we will check you in via the NYS Excelsior App. Note, you are fully vaccinated 2 weeks after your second dose of Moderna or Pfizer, and 2 weeks after Johnson & Johnson.
2. A negative PCR/Rapid test within 72 hours of the competition. For example, tested Wednesday for a Saturday competition.
3. A copy of lab confirmed COVID-19 positive result from the last 90 days and must be recently AND currently symptom free.
AND Complete the MSMC daily health screening form. You can access the daily screener through a web browser on your computer or phone (msmc.edu/screening) or by using the MSMC Mobile app (Apple or Android).
Upon Arrival to Campus:
- Please plan to arrive no earlier than 45 minutes prior to game time. You will not be permitted into the facility any sooner than that.
- An Athletic Staff member at the main entrance of campus will check you in. After check-in, you will be given a wristband.
- You will have to complete the daily screener for MSMC to keep on file for contact tracing purposes. You can complete this in advance via the MSMC Mobile App, and take a screenshot or once you arrive on campus. You can access the daily screener through a web browser on your computer or phone (msmc.edu/screening) or by using the MSMC Mobile app (Apple or Android).
During Competition:
- Please sit/stand in your family units and practice safe social distancing.
- Face coverings must be worn when social distancing is not possible outdoors and at all times indoors.
- Unvaccinated individuals must wear a face covering at all times
- Spectators are to remain away from team benches/dugouts/gathering areas.
Post-Competition:
- There is to be no interaction between spectators and student-athletes/coaches post competition.
- Spectators have 15 minutes to leave campus following the conclusion of the contest.
- Tailgating of any kind is not permissible.
Spectator Restroom Facilities:
- Soccer: Hudson Hall – Must wear a mask/face covering at all times when indoors
- Indoor Sports: Kaplan Center – Must wear a mask/face covering at all times when indoors
