Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Soccer team enters an important week when it plays host to the United States Merchant Marine Academy on Wednesday before traveling to Manhattanville on Saturday. The three teams are separated by just three points in the conference standings entering the week.

At A Glance: Mount Saint Mary is unbeaten in its last six outings, including victories in its last three contests, and enters Wednesday's tilt with the Mariners at 7-5-1 overall and 6-1-1 in conference action. The Knights are coming off a 5-1 win over Purchase on Saturday and have not been defeated since a 3-1 road loss at the College of Mount Saint Vincent on September 25.
Connor Doyle (New Windsor, N.Y.), who was named the Skyline Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season Tuesday morning, leads the offensive attack with 15 goals and 30 points. Doyle has scored in eight straight contests for the Knights and posted his third hat trick of the season in Saturday's win over Purchase.
Matt Wyant (Beacon, N.Y.) leads the team with 10 assists to begin the week and is second on the team in points with 18, adding four markers to his assist total.
Peter Ramirez (Newburgh, N.Y.) is third on the team with three goals, adding two assists for eight points.
Zach Decker (Red Hook, N.Y.) has played every second in goal for the Knights to date and enters the week with five shutouts, 63 saves, a .768 save percentage and a 1.41 goals against average.
Scouting USMMA: The Mariners come to town on Wednesday with a 10-6 overall record and a 7-2 mark against league rivals. USMMA has won four of its last five contests, including a 4-2 win over Yeshiva on Sunday.
Abram Ehrhorn leads a balanced scoring attack that features seven players with at least four goals with a team-high seven markers. Erhhorn adds five assists for a team-high 19 points through 16 games.
Miguel Millan, Maximilian Farris and Derek Vanasse all begin the week with 14 points, with Millan scoring six goals and adding two assists, while Farris and Vanasse have each scored five times and helped on four other goals. In total, the Mariners feature seven players with at least 10 points on the season.
Chase Miller has seen the bulk of time between the pipes for USMMA, playing 1,247:22 of a possible 1,440:00. He holds an. 800 save percentage with a 0.94 goals against average, making 52 saves and posting five shutouts.
Previewing Manhattanville: The Valiants enter the week atop the Skyline Conference standings by a single point over USMMA and by three points over both Mount Saint Vincent and the Knights. The Valiants enter a Wednesday contest with Sarah Lawrence at 8-4-2 overall and 7-0-1 in league play. Manhattanville in unbeaten in its last eight contests and has won its last six tilts.
Eli Pardo leads the scoring attack with eight markers on the season and sits atop the team leaderboard with 17 points. Kendall Davis checks in with nine points for the Valiants, scoring three times and assisting on a team-high three goals.
Luis Granados, named the Skyline Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday, has played 1,013:50 of a possible 1,303:50 in goal entering Wednesday's game with the Gryphons. He is sporting a 0.53 goals against average and a .897 save percentage while making 52 saves and posting six shutouts.
Recent History: Since 2016 the Mount is 3-1 against USMMA, including 2-0 win over the Mariners in the 2018 Skyline Conference Championship Final. The Knights are 0-1-1 against Manhattanville in the last two meetings, including a 2-2 draw during the 2019 regular season.
