Women's Soccer Set For Road Contests At Mount Saint Vincent, St. Joseph's-L.I.

Knights look to remain unbeaten in conference play

Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Soccer team begins a two game road trip against Mount Saint Vincent on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. On Saturday, they travel to St. Joseph's-LI for a 6:00 p.m. kick-off with the Golden Eagles.

At a Glance: The Knights are 6-4-1 (2-0 Skyline) on the season after shutting out Manhattanville on Tuesday, 1-0, and Sarah Lawrence on Saturday, 6-0.

Theresa Stinson (Troy, N.Y.)  scored two goals against the Gryphons to increase her point total to 11. She is second on the team behind Gina Rivera's (Washingtonville, N.Y.) 14.

Cassidy Rykowski (Sloatsburg, N.Y.) posted two shutouts, improving her record to 3-2 on the season.

A Look At Mount Saint Vincent: The Dolphins are 2-4-1 on the season following their 2-1 victory over Sarah Lawrence on Saturday, September 22.

Cristina Britton and Amy Cohen are tied for the team lead in goals with three. Madison Schultz is second with two.

Meaghan Cleary has started six of the seven games in goal for Mount Saint Vincent. She has posted a GAA of 3.54, making 50 saves for the season.

Previewing St. Joseph's-LI: The Golden Eagles are 3-4 on the season following an 8-0 win over York on Sunday. They will play Old Westbury on Thursday before playing the Mount on Saturday.

Christina Gagliardi leads the scoring attack with six goals for the season. Claire Brady is second with three and Carly Credidio is third with two.

Juliana Cintron-Leonardo has started all seven games in goal, posting a 1.72 GAA and making 51 saves.

What's Next: The Knights return home for a four game homestand, starting with St. Joseph's-Brooklyn on Wednesday, October 10. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m.
