Knights Close Four Game Home Stand Against Maritime, Old Westbury

MSMC looks to extend seven game winning streak

Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Soccer team plays the last two games of a four game homestand on Tuesday against Maritime at 7 p.m. and on Saturday when they it hosts Old Westbury at 1:00 p.m. for Senior Day.

At a Glance: The Knights are 10-4-1 (4-0 Skyline) on the season after shutting out both St. Joseph's-Brooklyn, 6-0, and Purchase, 3-0 last week.

Gina Rivera and Theresa Stinson are tied for the lead in goals with six. Julia DeSantis, named the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week on Monday, is next on the team with four goals. Rivera leads the team in 15 points.

Cassidy Rykowski is 7-2-0 on the season, posting a GAA of 1.19, making 28 saves on the year.

A Look At Maritime: The Privateers are 2-8-1 after drawing with Old Westbury on Saturday, 1-1 (2 OT).

Brianna Etienne leads the team in goals with six and points with 13. Cammie Havens has started all 11 games in goal, posting a 3.80 GAA, making 90 saves on the season.

Previewing Old Westbury: The Panthers are 3-11-1 after drawing 1-1 (2 OT) against Maritime on Saturday.

Brianna Williams leads the team in goals with six and points with 13. Alexa Higgins has started all 15 games in net, posting a GAA of 2.62, making 153 saves on the year.

What's Next: The Knights play their final game of the regular season on the road against Farmingdale State on October 24. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
