Newburgh, N.Y. - The Mount Saint Mary Men's Soccer team closed out a three game home stand on Wednesday night with a 3-0 loss to #2 Amherst. Senior goalkeeper Austin Peluso (Farmington, Conn.) finished the game with six saves for the Knights.

The visitors held a 13-4 advantage in shots prior to halftime on Wednesday and took six of the eight corner kicks in the opening 45 minutes. Peluso made a pair of stops in the period for Mount Saint Mary.

Coming out of halftime, the Lord Jeffs struck twice inside a 20 minute span to open up the final three goal advantage.
