Austin Peluso (Farmington, Conn.) recorded two saves as the Mount Saint Mary Men's Soccer team played visiting Yeshiva to a 1-1 draw on Senior Night on Wednesday.

After taking seven of the first eight shots of the game on Wednesday, the Knights found themselves trailing by a goal when Aaron Braun buried his fourth goal of the season in the 27
th minute. He cleaned up a rebound off of a restart and snuck a shot inside the right post to push the Maccabees in front at the 26:07 mark of the contest.

The Braun marker would be the only score of the first period, which saw the Mount outshoot Yeshiva 8-2. The Knights took all six corner kicks in the first 45 minutes on Wednesday, forcing Yeshiva keeper Maor Feinstein to make a pair of saves to keep the Knights off of the board. Pelsuo finished the opening stanza with a single stop for Mount Saint Mary.

Mount Saint Mary would pull even with the Maccabees with just under 25 minutes to play in regulation time, when Ennis deposited his seventh goal of the season in the 66
th minute. After junior
Cole Niemec (Rochelle Park, N.Y.) fed a ball to the left wing, freshman
Joseph Dolan (New Paltz, N.Y.) found Ennis who cashed in the equalizer at 65:06.

Following the Ennis marker, Mount Saint Mary outshot Yeshiva 5-2 in the second half but could not find the game winner. Peluso made a huge save for the Knights with just over 10 minutes to play following a turnover to keep the Knights even.

Eric Hayes (Westhampton Beach, N.Y.) shot out of the cage in the first extra period and Ennis sailed a shot over the crossbar just over five minutes into the extra session.

The Knights had eight different players record a shot in the game, with Ennis leading the way with eight. Dolan rounded out the night with four attempts, while Hayes and
Matthew Minniter (Mahopac, N.Y.) each posted three shots for the Knights.

Overall, Mount Saint Mary closed the game with a 22-7 advantage in shots, but just a 6-3 edge in shots on goal. The Knights dominated corner kicks in the game 14-3.

Peluso kept Yeshiva off the board after the first half goal and finished the game with a pair of saves in the game, including the big second half stop. Feinstein made a pair of stops and Moishi Eisenmann stopped one shot for the Maccabees.

Wednesday's result moves Mount Saint Mary to 5-9-3 overall on the season and to 4-2-2 in conference play. The Knights will look to get back into the win column on Saturday when they travel to Mount Saint Vincent. Kick-off is set for 2:00 p.m.
