FREDONIA, N.Y.- The Mount Saint Mary College Knights were handed their first loss of the season on Friday evening when they fell to the Fredonia State Blue Devils, 3-0. Both teams now stand at 2-1.

The Knights gave up three first half goals, which proved to be enough for the Devils to clinch the win. The Devils outshot the Knights, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Mount senior goalkeeper Matt Darling (Staatsburg N.Y.) had eight saves.

The Knights return to action on Saturday, September 7 when they take on Buffalo State at Fredonia State. The game is set for 2:30 p.m.
