Men’s Soccer Plays to Scoreless Stalemate at Farmingdale

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College men's soccer team (8-3-2, 4-1-2 Skyline) played to a scoreless draw with Farmingdale State College (7-6-1, 3-2-1 Skyline) in a Skyline Conference matchup Friday afternoon at Rams Field.

Both goalkeepers were impressive in keeping the opposing team off the scoreboard. Senior goalkeeper Matt Darling (Staatsburg, N.Y.) stopped eight shots across 110 minutes, while Farmingdale's Angelo Viteritti made nine saves.

The Knights held an 18-16 advantage in shots, led by sophomore midfielder Michael Ennis (Carmel, N.Y.), who fired off six shots. The Mount also took a slight edge in corner kicks, 4-3.

The Knights host Yeshiva University on Sunday, Oct. 20, in their second-to-last Skyline Conference game of the regular season. The action is set to kick off at 1 p.m. from Kaplan Field.
