Box Score

YONKERS, N.Y.  -  After back-to-back losses, the Mount Saint Mary College men's soccer team concluded regular season play with a 4-0 win over Yeshiva University on Tuesday night. The Knights boast a season record of 9-7-1, while the Maccabees are 1-7 on the year.

Mount junior Brandon Mincher (Bayport, N.Y.) gave the Knights a quick 1-0 lead, scoring in just the eighth minute of the contest. Mincher finished a cross from classmate Sean Lockwood (Manahawkin, N.J.) to account for his fourth goal of the year. The Knights went up by two in the 20th minute, as freshman Ryan Burton (Smithtown, N.Y.) tallied his first career goal.

In the second half, the Knights tacked on two more insurance goals, both coming from the foot of Lockwood. Lockwood's first came in the 64th minute, as he cashed in on a turnover by Yeshiva goalkeeper Nathan Japhet (Pawtucket, R.I.). One minute and nine seconds later, Lockwood deposited another, this time capitalizing on a turnover by the Maccabees defense.

Mount goalkeeper Matt Darling (Staatsburg, N.Y.) made five saves in the win, while Japhet was credited with four saves.
