Sean Lockwood (Manahawkin, N.J.) recorded a hat trick as the Knights defeated Yeshiva University, 8-0, in a Skyline Conference contest. The Knights even their record at 2-2 overall and 1-0 in the conference.

Ryan Folken (Centereach, N.Y) placed the rebound past Yeshiva goalkeeper Joseph Blechner to put the Knights on top (1-0). Junior
Drew Altieri (Voorheesville, N.Y.) doubled the advantage in the 28th minute . Just three minutes after Altieri's goal, Lockwood received a pass from classmate
Brandon Mincher (Bayport, N.Y.) and drilled the ball from 30 yards out to score his first of the night. Senior
Matt Glaviano (Carmel, N.Y.) added the fourth goal of the half and junior
Matt Pagano (Mahopac, N.Y.) was credited with the assist. The Knights possessed a 4-0 lead going into halftime.
In the opening minutes of the second half, junior
Christian Redl (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) dribbled through the box and beat Blechner to move the score to 5-0. Redl then set up
Kevin Ryan in the 66th minute of play on the sixth goal of the day for the Mount. Lockwood scored the final two goals for the Knights, in the 68th minute and the 81st minute. Redl and Folken earned assists on Lockwood's goal in the 68th minute.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Matt Darling (Staatsburg, N.Y.) earned his second shut-out of the season and made one save. Blechner, the Yeshiva goalkeeper, finished with 18 saves.
The Knights will host Centenary College on Thursday in a non-conference contest. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. on Kaplan Field.
