Freshman goalkeeper Matthew Darling (Staatsburg, N.Y.) tallied three saves in the first half as the Knights were outshot 7-3.

Bard College extended their lead to 2-0 in the 57th minute of play when sophomore Chet Darrow (New York, N.Y.) scored an unassisted goal. The Knights increased their offensive pressure in the second half and managed to get off five shots. Darling made one save in the second half to bring his total to four on the game.
