CENTEREACH, NY – St. Joseph's College freshman John Dettori (Bay Shore, N.Y.) scored three times to lead the Golden Eagles to a 4-0 defeat of Mount Saint Mary College in Skyline Conference action on Saturday. The Blue Knights fell to 6-7-1 overall and to 2-5-0 inside the Skyline.
Dettori opened the scoring in the 24th minute and then scored again in the 39th minute to give St. Joseph's a two-goal lead at the half. Senior Adam Rogers (Hauppauge, N.Y.) tallied the third goal for the Golden Eagles in the 53rd minute and Dettori completed the hat trick in the 59th minute.

Paul Aries (Nashua, N.H.) faced constant pressure for the entire game. He finished with 17 saves.
The Golden Eagles remained unbeaten in the Skyline (7-0) and improved to 9-8 overall.
Mount Saint Mary heads to Rutgers-Newark for a non-conference game on Monday, October 26 at 7:00 p.m.
