BRONX, NY – The Mount Saint Mary College women's volleyball team won their second straight match on Wednesday to improve to 10-15 overall and to 5-1 inside the Skyline Conference. The Blue Knights defeated Maritime College three sets to none (25-13, 25-11, 25-14). The Privateers are now 2-14 overall and 0-7 in the conference.
Freshman
Courtney Kenney (Hicksville, N.Y.) finished with a team-high six kills and also collected three aces and three digs. Sophomore
Liz Douress (Rahway, N.J.) had four kills without an error and senior
Amanda Perry (Norwich, N.Y.) had a team-high seven digs.
The Blue Knights head to Sage this Saturday to compete in a Skyline tri-match. The Mount will play conference-leading Sage at 11:00 a.m. and then St. Joseph's College at 1:00 p.m.
