Hackettstown, N.J. - The Mount Saint Mary College women's volleyball team dropped their second consecutive close match, this time losing to Centenary College. The Blue Knights fell to 6-14 overall while the Cyclones bumped up to 8-13.
The Cyclones would wind up sweeping the match, but all three of the games were close. Centenary snagged game one, 31-29, and game two, 30-28, and then closed the deal with a bigger margin (30-22) in game three.
For the Blue Knights, junior Amanda Carfora (Wallkill, N.Y.) seems to have really found her stride. She finished the match with 16 kills and didn't make an error on fifty attempts. She also had 12 digs. Sophomore Katie Toole (Wallkill, N.Y.) had a double-double as well, finishing with 25 assists and 11 digs. Senior Katie Goodrich (Binghamton, N.Y.) had a team-high 16 digs.
