Skylar Kellam

Skylar Kellam enters her second season as head coach of the Mount Saint Mary College women’s volleyball program in 2025.

This season, she led the Knights to their 17th straight Skyline Conference Playoff berth, posting an 11–17 overall record and a 7–4 mark in league play, while coaching Julianna Simone to First Team All-Conference honors and Jonaiya Williams to a Second Team selection. In her debut season in 2024, Kellam guided the Knights to a 10–19 record and 6–5 Skyline finish, earning another postseason appearance as she coached Williams to First Team All-Conference recognition and Simone to Second Team All-Conference honors.

Before arriving at the Mount, Kellam played a key role in revitalizing the women’s volleyball program at Pace University, helping engineer a turnaround from 5–19 to 13–11 in her first year on staff. She began her coaching career with Downstate Volleyball Club in 2021, quickly rising to head coach of regional teams, assisting national squads, and earning the club’s Rising Star Coaches Award in 2024.

A standout libero/defensive specialist at Western Connecticut State University, Kellam graduated with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies in 2021 and returned for a fifth year of eligibility while earning her MBA. She concluded her collegiate career with 844 digs and ranked third in program history with 176 service aces.
