Joe Dolan enters his first full season—and second year overall—as head coach of the Mount Saint Mary College women’s soccer program in 2025–26.
Elevated to interim head coach midway through the 2024 campaign before officially taking the reins, Dolan led the Knights to an 8–10–2 record in this season, including a strong 7–3–1 mark in Skyline Conference play. Mount Saint Mary advanced to the Skyline Conference Semifinals following a First Round victory over Farmingdale State—marking the program’s first-ever postseason win over the Rams after an 0–11 stretch.
During his tenure, Dolan has already coached multiple All-Conference standouts. In 2024, he guided Grace Morra to a First Team All-Conference selection and Kaelyn Greene to Second Team All-Conference honors. In 2025, he mentored Faith Welsh, a First Team All-Conference honoree, along with Kaitlyn Shotter, Lily Tanko, and Kaitlin Hansen, who all earned Second Team All-Conference recognition.
Before transitioning to the women’s program, Dolan spent four seasons (2021–24) as an assistant coach with the Mount Saint Mary men’s soccer team, helping develop multiple All-Conference performers and contributing to several postseason appearances. He returned to the program shortly after graduating in 2019 with a degree in Biology.
One of the most accomplished players in the history of Mount Saint Mary men's soccer, Dolan still holds program records for career points (105), career goals (47), career games played (79), and goals in a single season (18). His playing accolades include two Skyline Conference Championships, three First Team All-Conference selections, the 2017 Skyline Offensive Player of the Year award, and Most Valuable Player honors in the 2017 Skyline Championship. He also earned USCAA All-East Region recognition in 2016 (Third Team) and 2017 (Second Team).
Dolan continues to compete at the semi-professional level with Kingston Stockade FC.
