Mount Saint Mary College Athletics

Ryan Probst joins the Mount Saint Mary College women's basketball coaching staff for the 2015-16 season.

Probst graduated in May 2015 from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business – Marketing along with certificates in Digital Marketing & Analytics and Corporate Real Estate. 

Probst was an All-Conference basketball and soccer player in high school and named to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Academic All-State team.   During his freshmen year at UConn he served a brief stint on the men’s basketball practice squad under Jim Calhoun and then again under Kevin Ollie his sophomore year.  

From 2013 to 2015, he served as a male practice player for the UConn Women’s Basketball Team under Coach Geno Auriemma.  He made trips to the Women’s Final Four in Nashville in 2014 and Tampa Bay in 2015, earning back to back National Championships. 

Probst also has been a certified Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association basketball referee since 2010. He has over 40 hours of classroom and on-court referee training and four years of refereeing experience in Connecticut. 

Probst is a native of Appleton, WI and will reside in Newburgh, N.Y.
