Dietz is entering her third season as the Mount Saint Mary College women’s basketball head coach.
In 2024-25, Dietz guided the Knights to a 17-10 overall record and a 15-5 mark in Skyline Conference play. The team captured the Skyline Conference Championship and advanced to the First Round of the NCAA Tournament. Under her leadership, forward Brianna Guglielmo earned All-Conference First Team honors and was named the Skyline Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player.
Dietz’s debut season in 2023-24 saw the Knights post an 18-9 overall record and a 17-3 conference mark. The program reached the Skyline Conference Semifinal and secured a berth in the ECAC Tournament.
Before arriving at Mount Saint Mary, Dietz served as an assistant coach at William Smith College, where she contributed to all aspects of the program with an emphasis on recruiting, opponent scouting, and practice planning. She played a key role in developing two Second Team All-Conference performers and mentored the second runner-up for the Arthur Ashe Jr. Female Sports Scholar of the Year.
Prior to her time at William Smith, Dietz helped guide Catholic University to a 27-9 record across two seasons. The Cardinals reached the Landmark Conference Tournament finals during the COVID-shortened 2020-21 campaign, then posted a 20-win season in 2021-22, earning an NCAA Tournament at-large selection. Four players earned All-Landmark honors, including one WBCA Honorable Mention All-American.
A native of Hopewell Junction, New York, Dietz is a 2020 graduate of SUNY New Paltz. A four-year starter for the Hawks, she scored 1,253 career points—second on the program’s all-time list—and helped the team to an 87-28 record, three SUNYAC Championships, and three NCAA Tournament appearances, including two runs to the Round of 16. She was named SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Year in both 2019 and 2020 and earned the SUNYAC Women’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year award in 2020.
Dietz has coached within the AAU ranks as well, leading a 14U team for the NY Royals and volunteering with the Hudson Valley Knights program. She has also directed youth clinics at her alma mater.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood/childhood education with a mathematics concentration from SUNY New Paltz and a master’s degree in learning and instruction from Catholic University.
