Mount Saint Mary College Head Men’s Soccer coach Kevin Longacre has added Kevin Davis to his coaching staff for the 2017 season. Davis joins the Mount staff after a standout collegiate career at Division III Wheaton.

As a four year starter for the Lyons, Davis played on both in defense and in the midfield, finishing his career playing in 84 matches, all starts, which is tied for fifth all time in school history.

As a senior captain in 2016, Davis was named First Team All- NEWMAC and the NSCAA Second Team All-New England Region, his third time earning both honors.
Over a four year career at Wheaton, Davis scored 11 goals and added eight assists, scoring seven goals, including a pair of game winners, and four assists during his senior campaign.
 
Off the field, Davis filled a variety of other roles for the Lyons, serving as the Wheaton Athletic Mentor Representative for men’s soccer, assisting in recruiting, organizing weight training for the team and event organization for the team.

A 2013 graduate of nearby Beacon High School, Davis was a two year captain of the soccer team, earning two All-League and All-Section honors as well as the league MVP award. 
 
Although new to the collegiate coaching ranks, Davis coaches with the Cedar Stars Academy in Newburgh and is a current member of Kingston Stockade FC, a semi-professional club in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL).
