Mount Saint Mary College Athletics

Mount Saint Mary College Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach Ian Farley has announced the addition of Justin Lorenzo to his coaching staff for the 2022-23 academic year. Lorenzo brings club and high school coaching experience to the Mount and played his collegiate lacrosse at Division II Franklin Pierce.
 
As a goalie at Franklin Pierce, Lorenzo’s name is littered throughout the program’s record book. He stands third on the career list in goals against average,  sixth in games played and minutes played by a goalie, seventh in saves and eighth in save percentage.
 
Following his playing days, Lorenzo moved into coaching where he served as the Head JV Coach and Varsity assistant at his High School alma mater, Goshen. Lorenzo also served as the head coach of the O2 Lacrosse Fifth grade team and an assistant coach with the O2 Lacrosse seventh grade squad as well as the Hudson Valley Express fifth and sixth grade teams.
 
In the community, Lorenzo helped coordinate food drives in the Boston area and helped write a grant that was awarded for lacrosse equipment for day camp through USA Lacrosse.
 
Lorenzo, who earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Franklin Pierce in 2021, currently resides in Campbell Hall.
