Ryan Kadlubowski enters his 16th year overall, 15th season due to the cancelation of the 2020-21 season due to COVID-19, as the head coach of the men's basketball program in 2023-24. In 2021-22, the Knights returned to the court after not playing during the 2020-2021 season due to COVID. With 11 newcomers to the program the team just missed the postseason by one game.  Second year player Chris Yearwood led the team in scoring with 14.2 PPG, good for 12th overall in the Skyline. First year player Jayden Figueroa averaged nearly a double-double and was fourth overall in total rebounding at 9.3 RPG.Â

Gerard Nocera finished his career with 1,278 points good for ninth all-time. His fellow classmate Dan Wolff also reached the 1,000-point milestone during the season. In 2016-2017, the team went 12-12 and 7-9 in conference. Gerard Nocera was named Second Team All-Conference.Â
The 2013-2014 season saw the team finish with a record of 21-7 and 16-2 in the Skyline. The Knights made a run to the Skyline Conference Championship game against nationally-ranked Purchase College. It was their first appearance in the conference final since the team's last title victory in 2004-05. They also qualified for the ECAC Metro Region Tournament for the fourth straight season. The team matched a program-high with 16 Skyline wins and had its best winning percentage against the conference at .889. Donte Howell 14’ and Chris Pisciotta 14’ were named to the All-Skyline First Team. Howell also earned NABC All-Atlantic Region Second-Team honors, as well as All-Met Division III Men's Basketball Second Team recognition. Pisciotta landed on the ECAC Division III Metro Men's Basketball All-Star Second Team. Howell reached the 1,000-point milestone that year, finishing with 1,235 career points good for 10th all-time. Joe Henain set several program records, including most career blocks (183), single-season blocks (71), single-season blocks per game (2.54), career blocks per game (1.65) and rebounds in a single game (23).

In 2011-12, Kadlubowski led the Knights to an overall record of 23-7, the best mark in program history, and the ECAC Metro Region Tournament Championship, the program’s first-ever ECAC championship. A pair of milestone accomplishments highlighted the season. Carlos Valdez 12’ became the first player in school history to record 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds. Valdez finished his career with 1,391 points good for 4th all-time and is the all-time leader in career rebounds. Kevin Milella 12’, joined Valdez as a 1,000-point scorer. During the 2010-2011 season the Knights started turning the program around with a 19-9 record and 16-4 record in the Skyline. Coach Kadlubowski was named the Skyline Coach of the Year for the first time in his career and the team made the ECAC Metro Region tournament. Carlos Valdez and Joe Stabach were named 2nd team All-Conference. Stabach was also named Skyline and the ECAC Metro Region rookie of the year.Â
Prior to his arrival at the Mount, Kadlubowski spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Rochester. He was instrumental in the success of the Yellowjackets. Rochester made two NCAA appearances and reached the Sweet Sixteen during the 2007-08 season. That same season, the Yellowjackets were consistently ranked among the nation's top ten and spent more than six weeks as the top-ranked team in the country. Additionally, Kadlubowski helped guide a number of individual players to outstanding seasons. Rochester produced eight All-University Athletic Association (UAA) honorees, three All-East Region players, and a pair of All-Americans. Kadlubowski recruits Nathan Novosel and John DiBartolomeo were named the UAA Rookie of the Year in consecutive seasons. Both players were also named to the D3 News All-Freshman Team. DiBartolomeo completed his career as a seven-time All-American, was named the National Player of the Year by both D3hoops.com and DIII News, and was a Jostens Trophy Finalist.
While at Washington & Lee, Kadlubowski recruited Greg Bienemann to the Class of 2008. During Bienemann's senior year, he was named to the first team in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC), the second team for the South Region by the NABC, and the third team for the South Region by D3hoops.com. He was also named a finalist for the prestigious Jostens Award. Bienemann finished his career with 1,573 points, good enough for sixth all-time at W&L. With Kadlubowski's recruits in place, Washington & Lee experienced three consecutive winning seasons and the best three-year record in more than 20 years. The Generals ended a streak of 17 consecutive losing seasons in 2007-08.
As an undergraduate at the University of Rochester, Kadlubowski was a member of the men’s basketball team from 1998 through 2003. The Yellowjackets posted a record of 94-39 during his time with the team and made three NCAA Tournament appearances. Rochester went to the Final Four in 2001-02 and to the Sweet Sixteen in 2002-03.
Kadlubowski graduated from the University of Rochester in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He also holds a master’s degree in sports leadership earned from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Kadlubowski currently resides in Poughquag, N.Y. with his wife Jenn and his daughters Madeline and Norah.
