Mount Saint Mary College Athletics

Jayden Racca is entering his first season as the assistant men's basketball coach for the 2025-26 season.

Racca was a member of the Mount Saint Mary College men’s basketball team from 2021 to 2024. A two-year team captain, he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2024 with a double major in Journalism and Advertising/Public Relations. During his collegiate career, Racca was recognized as the 2023–24 MSMC Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, earned three selections to the Skyline Conference Academic Honor Roll, and was a two-time member of the NABC Honors Court.

Following his playing career, Racca joined the New Fairfield High School boys varsity basketball coaching staff for the 2024–25 season, helping guide the team to its best record in over 15 years and a state semifinal appearance. He also serves as a head coach within the AC Connecticut AAU and New Fairfield Youth Basketball programs, where he focuses on player development and leadership for athletes ages 11–16.

Drawing from his experience as a collegiate student-athlete and leader, Racca is passionate about mentoring young players and passing down his knowledge of the game from the sidelines. He is a native of New Fairfield, Connecticut.
