Mount Saint Mary entered today riding a 10-game losing streak, looking to get back on track against Mount Saint Vincent. With Knight's ace
Michael Pisseri on the mound, the Mount was confident in their ability to win. The Dolphins were the first team to score in the bottom of the 1st after an RBI double gave them a 1-0 lead. The Knights responded in the top of the 2nd with two runs of their own. After singles from
Aidan Marshall and
Gregory Harrison,
Justin Stella hit an RBI single, then an error from Mount Saint Vincent allowed the Knights to go up 2-1.
After a leadoff triple from
Axel Martinez, who led MSMC with three hits this game, an error from the Dolphins allowed him to score, and
Noah Anderson hit an RBI double to extend their lead to 4-1. Mount Saint Vincent answered the call in the bottom half of the 4th with two runs of their own to cut their deficit to just one run. The Dolphins tied things up with an RBI single the following inning, then exploded for five runs in the bottom of the 6th to take a commanding 9-4 lead. A solo shot from
Kaleb Morgan made it 9-5 in the final inning, but the Knights were unable to get any more runs as they dropped game one to Mount Saint Vincent.

The Knights were hoping to rebound in game two against the Dolphins to snap their losing skid. In the top of the first,
Kaleb Morgan notched a two-out RBI single to put Mount Saint Mary up 1-0.
Peter Pappalardo had a solid day on the mound for the Knights, throwing four straight scoreless innings to start the game. In the top of the 3rd,
Kaleb Morgan would record another two RBIs with his second home run of the day for his 6th of the season. Morgan has now tied the program single-season home run record with nine games still left to play this season.
The Knights added another two runs in the top of the 5th after RBI singles from both
Aidan Marshall and
Gregory Harrison to make it 5-0. Mount Saint Vincent scored three runs in the 5th and another two runs in the 6th to tie it up 5-5 and make it a ball game.
Lucas Graber came in to pitch for Mount Saint Mary in the bottom of the 7th, as the Dolphins took a 6-5 lead after an RBI single. An RBI double from
Axel Martinez and an RBI single from
Noah Anderson put the Knights back up 7-6 in the 8th. Some mistakes from Mount Saint Vincent in the top of the 9th added a few insurance runs for Mount Saint Mary as they came away with an 11-6 victory in game two, giving
Lucas Graber his first-career win as a pitcher.
