KISSIMMEE, Fla. – The Mount Saint Mary College softball team dropped its final two games of the Spring Games.
Game 1
The Basics
Score: Mount Saint Mary College 0, W&J 4

Mount Saint Mary hoped to get back on track against Washington and Jefferson in game one of their final day at the Spring Games Invitational.
Grace MacDonald would take the mound for the Knights, getting out of a jam with 2 runners on.
Allie Kenney and
Samantha Stallone would get on base with back-to-back singles, but nothing would come of it. A couple of passed balls put runners in scoring position, as the Presidents got the first 2 runs on the board to take the lead. In the bottom of the 3rd, Washington and Jefferson added another 2 runs to extend their lead to 4-0.
The Knights got another 2 runners on with singles from
Grace Terpening and
Samantha Stallone, but left them stranded yet again. Mount Saint Mary had 11 hits on the day, though they would be unable to score and not take advantage of runners in scoring position.
Grace MacDonald would pitch the last 3.0 innings scoreless, though the Knights were unable to give any run support as the Mount fell 4-0.

Rapid Recap
To begin game two, Russell Sage would score 2 runs in the top of the 1st to take an early lead. The Knights would walk twice with just 1 out; however, they were unable to score. A couple of errors to start the top of the 2nd led to a run to make the game 3-0 Sage.
Autumn Strobach would hit a 2 RBI single to score
Angela Christopher and
Allie Kenney, as Strobach led the Knights with 3 hits this game. Another run would walk in to tie the game 3-3, as
Chloe Graham drew 2 walks this game.
In the top of the 4th, the Gators added another 2 runs with back-to-back RBI singles to take back their lead. Then, in the top half of the next inning, Sage exploded for 5 runs to blow open the game and extend their lead to 10-3. Mount Saint Mary was unable to score until the bottom of the 6th, where
Chloe Graham recorded her 8th double in just 8 games this season, scoring
Autumn Strobach, who led off the inning with a single. The Knights needed another run to extend the game, but were unable to as they fell to the Gators 12-4 in 6 innings.
