Benedictine exploded for 10 runs in the top of the 4th on just 6 hits, taking advantage of 3 errors from the Mount. A leadoff walk in the bottom half of the inning by

Score: Mount Saint Mary College 5, Dean 7
Records: Mount Saint Mary College (2-2, 0-0 Skyline) | Dean (1-3, 0-0)
Rapid Recap
The Knights took on Dean College in the second game of their back-to-back doubleheader. Just like game one, Mount Saint Mary did not get off to a great start. 2 errors from the Knights in the bottom of the first helped the Bulldogs score 5 runs and jump out to an early lead. With 2 outs in the top of the 3rd,
Grace Reich would double, then eventually score, after an error the next at bat to get the Mount on the board. 2 more runs from Dean in the bottom half of the inning made it 7-1, as
Grace MacDonald would be brought in to pitch.
MacDonald dominated on the mound, tossing 3.1 scoreless innings and striking out 6 batters, but the Knights had a big hill to climb late in the game. With their backs against the wall in the top of the 7th, Mount Saint Mary tossed on their rally caps as they attempted to make a comeback. With 2 runners on,
Dana Donnelly would single to score
Angela Christopher.
Chloe Graham hit a sac fly to make it 7-4, as the Knights slowly chipped away. With 2 outs,
Grace Terpening singled to score Donnelly and put the leading run at the plate. Mount Saint Mary would ultimately come up just short after a flyout ended the game with Dean winning 7-5.
