Rapid Recap
Mount Saint Mary College opened up its 2026 regular season with a road match at Stockton University. The Knights quickly opened up the game with a caused turnover from Briana Fassett, but nothing would come of it. Stockton would net the first goal of the game moments later, followed by goals on 4-straight possessions to take a 5-0 lead. The Knights would find themselves trailing 10-0 after the first quarter, with lots of ground to cover.

Delisianna Naccarato would finally net the first goal of the game and the first goal of the season for the Mount off a free-position shot at 4:13 in the second quarter. Naccarato not only led the team in scoring this game, but the Skyline First Team All-Conference midfielder also led the team in ground balls, caused turnovers, and draw controls this game.

Naccarato would find the back of the net for the second time this game early on in the second half, taking advantage of a Stockton green card. The Knights improved defensively in the third quarter, allowing just one goal and forcing 6 turnovers. Freshman Sophia Sandoval saw her first action in net for the Knights in the second half, with her and Peyton Curley splitting duties this game. Curley would make a team-high 12 saves and record her 100th career save.

Stockton would score 3 unanswered goals in the 4th quarter before eventually defeating Mount Saint Mary 18-2. The Knights will look to move on and learn as they are set for another road match a week and a half later at Bard College. The Mount is currently riding a 3-game win streak over the Raptors and holds an 8-1 all-time record.
