Brianna Guglielmo scored her 1,000th career point.

Mount Saint Mary College women's basketball traveled to Long Island to take on the Golden Eagles after clinching the third seed in the Skyline Conference Playoffs this past weekend.
Angelina Donato scored the first basket for the Knights in this game, as she not only led the team in scoring but also added 9 rebounds and 5 assists.
Sara Cashin was a force down low for the Mount this game, scoring 8 of her 12 points in the first quarter, while also grabbing 12 rebounds.
Maggie Trinkaus ended the quarter with her second three-pointer of the game to put the Knights up 19-15, as she continues to shoot the three-ball well lately.
The Golden Eagles dared Mount Saint Mary to shoot this game, with the Knights shooting 42 threes, doubling the amount of two-point attempts they took.
Angelina Donato would knock down a three to start off the second quarter, shooting 4-9 from beyond the arc this game. At 4:21 in the quarter,
Brianna Guglielmo would leak out for a fastbreak layup to put her over the 1,000 point mark in her career, making her just the 18th player in Mount Saint Mary women's basketball program history to accomplish this feat. The Knights would head into the half tied 27-27 with the Golden Eagles.
Maggie Trinkaus would come up with a steal on the first possession of the half, then would find
Brianna Guglielmo for three. Points were hard to come by in this game, with the Knights shooting 30.2% and Long Island just 25.3% from the field. Neither team led by more than three points in the quarter, as they were tied 37-37 with 10 minutes remaining.
The Knights would start off with a made three for the third straight quarter, this time from
Keira Frias.
Brianna Guglielmo followed it up with a three of her own as the Mount looked to pull away with the lead. The Knights would be unable to score for nearly three minutes, allowing the Golden Eagles to take the lead before
Angelina Donato would convert a shot from long range.
Sara Cashin would tie the game up, 48-48, on a tough turnaround jumper with 2:16 remaining. Both defenses would come up big down the stretch as neither team was able to score, forcing overtime.
The Knights' defense would lock in during overtime, allowing the Golden Eagles to score just 2 points.
Angelina Donato would hit back-to-back huge threes, putting the Mount up 54-48. From here, the Knights would hit their free throws and come away with a big road win over St. Joseph's Long Island 57-50.
