FLEMINGTON, NJ. – The Mount Saint Mary College baseball team swept their doubleheader against Yeshiva to move to 5-1 in conference play.

Yeshiva grabbed a 1-0 lead in the 1st on a RBI single, but Mount Saint Mary went ahead in the 2nd, scoring four runs on Noah Anderson's RBI single and Christian Parisa's two-RBI double, helped by three hit-by-pitches, to lead 4-1. The Knights extended their leas to 7-1 in the 3rd against with Aidan Marshall's three-run homer capping a five-hit inning. Tyler Van De Bogart's RBI groundout in the 4th made it 8-1.
Yeshiva cut it to 8-2 in the bottom of the 4th with a RBI groundout , but Mount Saint Mary pulled away in the 6th scoring five runs. Van De Bogart's RBI double and Richard Lamping's two-RBI double pushed the score to 13-2, with Yeshiva's catching error adding to the damage. Nick Torres and Lucas Garcia combined to limit Yeshiva to five hits, with Garcia shutting the door in the 6th and 7th to secure the victory.

Mount Saint Mary stormed out to a 4-0 lead in the 1st, with Frank Signorelli scoring on a Yeshiva error and Tyler Van De Bogart driving in runs via stolen bases and walks, forcing an early pitching change. Yeshiva responded in the 3rd, erasing the deficit with a five-run inning on a two-RBI double and an RBI single tying it at 4-4. The Knights regained control in the 4th, scoring six runs with Christian Parisa's two-RBI single and Aidan Marshall's RBI single pushing the lead to 10-5 after Yeshiva misplayed a ball in right.
Yeshiva fought back in the bottom of the 4th, cutting it to 10-8 on a three-RBI triple. Mount Saint Mary extended their lead in the 6th with Justin Stella's RBI groundout and added three more in the 7th via Van De Bogart's RBI double and Luke Barone's RBI double, making it 14-8. Yeshiva narrowed it to 14-9 in the 7th a RBI single, but the Knights sealed it in the 8th and 9th with Chris Calvario's RBI single and Richard Lamping's RBI single, reaching 16-9. In the 9th Liam Horan recorded his first collegiate hit with a single to left field. Kelly pitched 5.1 innings of relief to secure the win.
