Rapid Recap
Mount Saint Mary started off with a faceoff win from Bobby DeSantis, but a turnover for the Knights led to a Maritime goal on their first possession. The Privateers quickly jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first 4 minutes of play. A great dodge from Joe Keating got him right in front of the crease to score and get the Mount on the board. Kenny Leen was kept busy, making 19 saves on the afternoon. Junior defenseman Luke Dombroski continues to show why he is one of the best defenders in the Skyline, forcing 5 turnovers this game as he leads Division III in caused turnovers. A last minute goal from Maritime extended their lead to 4-1 after the first quarter. Maritime added another 3 goals in a 3-minute span in the second quarter to go up 7-1, with Mount Saint Mary being held scoreless for the remainder of the half.

The Privateers scored the first 4 goals of the 3rd quarter before Tim Doyle was finally able to end the team's scoring drought. The Knights struggled to get good looks on offense all game long, as only 9 of their 26 shot attempts reached the goal compared to the Privateers 33 shots on goal on 43 attempts. In the 4th, Maritime continued to get looks as the Mount defense saw most of the game in their zone. Joe Keating was able to find Tim Doyle for a man-up goal late in the game. Ultimately, the Knights would lose to the Privateers 14-3.
