Rapid Recap
Mount Saint Mary looked to get back in the win column against Ramapo College after returning home from the Puerto Rico Classico. The Knights did a solid job defensively to open up the first quarter, forcing 4 Roadrunner turnovers in the first 10 minutes. The Mount was unable to take advantage offensively as Ramapo broke the stalemate to take a 1-0 lead. Delisianna Naccarato and Shannon McGowan would tag team to score 2 goals in the last couple minutes to go up 2-1. Julia McGrinder was great for the Knights in the draw circle, winning a career-high 6 draw controls this game. Ramapo tied things up to start the second quarter, but the Knights would go on a little bit of a tear with a couple of goals from Karlie Ferrucci to go up 5-2. Mount Saint Mary was far from smooth sailing though, as the Roadrunners came storming back to tie the game once again at 6-6 heading into the half.

From the jump, Ramapo took control of the third quarter, scoring 5 of their 6 goals this period in a row to take a commanding 11-6 lead. Delisianna Naccarato tallied her 5th goal of the match with 3:58 remaining in the quarter, but the Knights were going to need more offense if they were going to come out on top. The Roadrunners led by as much as 6 in the 4th quarter before Mount Saint Mary began to mount a comeback starting with a goal from Shannon McGowan. Victoria Maffettone would get assisted by Antonia Licardi followed by another goal from Delisianna Naccarato to cut their deficit to just 3 goals. Ramapo would put an end to the Knights's run with just under 4 minutes to play as the Mount fell to the Roadrunners 15-11.
