Rapid Recap
Mount Saint Mary looked to continue its win streak against another Skyline opponent in Farmingdale State College at home. Brianna Guglielmo was the first to score for the Knights, drawing a foul early on as she constantly looked to attack the Rams inside. After a made jumper from Maggie Trinkaus, the Mount struggled to get good looks on offense. Towards the end of the quarter, Reese Mayer took over, finding Sara Cashin down low for three straight baskets as she scored or assisted on the Knights' last 7 points of the quarter.

Tied 11-11 at the start of the second quarter, Farmingdale would go on an 11-2 run before Brianna Guglielmo would slow things down with a trip to the free throw line. The Knights struggled on the defensive glass, allowing 20 offensive rebounds that led to 15 second-chance points for the Rams. Mount Saint Mary cut its deficit to just one point after a made basket from Sara Cashin, but the Mount's offensive woes caught up to them as they did not make a shot in the last 3:45 of the first half and trailed 27-21 heading into the locker room.

The Knights looked to regroup to start the third quarter; however, the Rams got off to a hot start, and the Mount did not. Mount Saint Mary trailed 41-25 midway through the quarter, as they were down but not out. Coach Marion Dietz looked to her bench in Jenny Lopez and Darcy DeBenedittis to provide a much-needed spark to mount a comeback.

Mount Saint Mary trailed 48-35 entering the fourth, with Brianna Guglielmo and Sara Cashin looking to will the Knights back into the game. Guglielmo cut their deficit to just 4 after a three-pointer and a made free throw to flip the momentum in the Kaplan Center. The Mount was right back in the game before a made three from the Rams calmed things down for Farmingdale as they led 54-46. The Knights fought to the end, though they ultimately lost 64-56.
