NEW YORK, N.Y. – Junior Grace MacHugh of the women's swim team and freshman Edward Mills of the men's swim team were both named Skyline Conference weekly award winners as announced by the league office Wednesday morning. MacHugh earned herself Women's Swimmer of the Week and Mills earned himself Men's Rookie of the Week.

MacHugh had six first-place finishes this week. On Thursday against Bard College, she finished first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:15.99), 200-yard individual medley (2:32.67) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:17.86). She followed this performance up on Senior day winning the 200-yard individual medley (2:26.82), 100-yard butterfly (1:10.21), and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:15.52). 

Mills performed well this past week, as he touched out a Bard swimmer for first place in the 100-yard freestyle (59.38). And at the Senior Meet, he touched out a Delhi swimmer to win the 200-yard freestyle (2:03.79), before taking first in the 500-yard freestyle as well (5:53.52).
