BETHPAGE, N.Y.– The Mount Saint Mary men's golf team competed in the Skyline Conference Championship match and placed 2nd among the conference and had three top ten finishers.

How It Happened
- Trevor Zamudio placed highest among the Knights placing 7th in the conference and shot a 79 on day 1 of the championship and a 75 on day 2.
- Ruslan Makarenko continues to shine in his rookie season placing 8th in the championship. He shot a 79 in the first round and a 77 in the second to secure a spot in the top 10 in his first championship match.
- John Del Bene rounds out the top ten finishers for the Knights placing 10th in the championship match. Del Bene shot an 80 in the first round and a 78 in the second.
Coaches Corner
Coach Andy Crane praised his team for their second-place finish in the Skyline Conference Championship match. Crane said, "Very proud of the boys, they played well all weekend, happy for our guys that finished All-Skyline. Think we definitely took steps forward as a program. We will look to see where we need to improve and finish out strong for the rest of the year."
