Scranton, PA – The Mount Saint Mary College Knights baseball team (8-24) faced a tough offensive battle on Tuesday, ultimately falling to the Marywood Pacers (20-10) with a final score of 23-5.
The Pacers jumped out to an early lead, scoring multiple runs in the first few innings. Despite the Mount's efforts, Marywood continued to put runs on the board throughout the game. The Knights struggled to contain the Pacers' offense and found it difficult to generate a consistent attack of their own.

Coach Purcell's Comments: "It was a disappointing loss. We couldn't find our footing on the mound or at the plate. We'll look to regroup and focus on putting together a stronger outing in our next game."
