Purchase, NY- The Mount Saint Mary College women's basketball team (15-7, 14-3 Skyline) responded emphatically from Tuesday's loss, defeating Purchase College (2-19, 2-16 Skyline) 69-44 on the road tonight. Head coach
Marion Dietz praised the team's effort, saying, "Great team effort and good response from Tuesday's loss."
Balanced Scoring Leads the Way
The Knights showcased their offensive depth with four players reaching double figures in scoring.
Lauren Petrie (14 points) and
Sara Cashin (14 points) paced the attack, while
Angelina Donato (17 points) and
Charlotte Twohig (10 points) provided valuable contributions inside. The team shot 40.3% from the field and connected on nine three-pointers, showcasing their offensive versatility.
